Abigail Marroquin, LCSW
Abby is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is originally from Pharr, Texas. Abby has been living in San Antonio for the past four years. Abby obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at Texas A&M University and her Master’s of Science in Social Work at the University of Texas Pan American. Throughout her time as a social worker, Abby has gained experience working in a variety of settings such as inpatient behavioral hospitals, school and medical settings. Abby has experience working with both children and adults and is bilingual. Abby currently works with adult populations who are underserved and provides counseling for clients experiencing trauma, substance abuse issues, and depression/anxiety. Abby’s modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Brief therapy, Mindfulness based practices and Reality Therapy. Abby wholeheartedly believes in the power of empathy, compassion and acceptance.
