Christina Taylor LCSW, MSW
I use evidence-based practices, trauma-informed interventions, and a strengths-based perspective to encourage peace and healing.
I am passionate about helping people improve their mental health and achieve peace and happiness in their life. I do not want counseling to be scary, or to feel like a chore. I meet my clients where they are, and together we work towards their personal goals. I work with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, stress, depression, life changes, identity crisis, LGBTQ+ community, and more. I work with children, ages 5 and up, teenagers, and adults from all walks of life.
I believe personal happiness is centered on the relationships we have with ourselves and others. My goal is to help you strengthen those relationships and help you to develop the tools and coping skills necessary to feel more in control, confident, and hopeful. Trauma, anxiety, and depression make it hard to truly enjoy life, connect with others, and achieve personal goals. Sometimes, it can feel crippling. Your feelings and your life matter; there is hope. We will work to identify and dispel any shame and guilt you may be feeling, using your individual strengths and evidence-cased interventions. I use a variety of interventions, such as CBT, Mindfulness, DBT, Compassion Focused, Person Centered, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Play Therapy/Sand tray Therapy and more. I believe building a safe environment is important to the healing process, and I work hard to make my office a comfortable place to grow. I truly beleive, from experience, that together we can achieve your goals.
