Catherine Lambert LPC
Catherine Lambert grew up in Katy, TX, just west of Houston. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Houston-Victoria, and went on to graduate from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM. During her time in Santa Fe, she learned the importance of meeting all clients with mind, heart, and spirit to help them reach their goals for personal growth.
Catherine then moved back to Texas and completed her pre-graduate internship at Capital Area Counseling. She then worked in behavioral health hospitals and community mental health centers in the Austin area before relocating to the San Antonio area.
Catherine believes in the rapport between therapist and client is the most important factor in the therapeutic process. She utilizes narrative and cognitive-behavioral techniques to explore with her clients where their story has led them, and what beliefs might be holding them back from reaching their goals. She also works to help clients recognize their strengths, external supports, and inner resiliency that empowers them to move toward the life they want.
In her free time, Catherine loves swimming, writing short stories, spending time with her family and friends, and going on walks with her two pups.
