I am Diana Loesch, I am a recent transplant to Texas, moving from Missouri with a brief detour in Iowa, and I LOVE it. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2006, after being exposed to the benefits of therapy, while working as a case manager at a residential treatment center for adolescents with emotional and behavioral issues. Over the course of my career, I have worked with folks with a variety of concerns-anxiety, depression, trauma, codependency, and chemical dependency, from diverse backgrounds, ages, and cultures, and one thing I have learned is that we are all more similar than different, we all long for healthy connections, and healthy connections are available to us all.
I believe in the power of a positive therapeutic alliance, and my primary goal as a therapist is to empower you to identify the changes you want to make, and walk with you on your journey. I will never tell you WHAT to do, as I know the answers are inside of you, rather, my hope is to offer options, tools, and considerations in order to support you.
I will strive to ensure my office is your safest place, a place you can trust that, whatever is shared, it will be received without judgment, with care and compassion. I recognize the courage it takes to allow someone in to your private world, and it inspires me.
“The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself.” Joybell C.
