Araceli Gavia, LPC-Associate
Araceli Gavia is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate passionate about providing trauma-informed, multicultural care to individuals navigating life’s challenges. With a background in clinical mental health, behavior analysis, and grief support, Araceli brings empathy, cultural sensitivity, and authenticity to every client session.
Araceli has experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and emotional regulation. She has provided counseling services at Jewish Family Services and the Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas, as well as behavior therapy for children with autism at Stone Oak Therapy Services.
She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business from Texas Tech University. Araceli is also certified in Psychological First Aid, Trauma-Informed Care, and Suicide Prevention.
Araceli’s approach is grounded in compassion, empowerment, and client-centered care. She believes healing begins in safe, collaborative spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and supported in achieving their personal goals.
