Hali Garrett LCSW
I am a trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents, adults, and families, and has provided therapy services in outpatient and school settings in central Texas over the past ten years. My focus with providing psychotherapy is to help individuals struggling with issues related to depression, stress management, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, and attachment.
Therapeutically, my relational style is warm and non-judgmental, and I see my role as one that maintains a consistent and safe environment where clients can work with me to find balance, untangle the messiness of life, and shift from coping to thriving. I believe in meeting clients where they are and working holistically with them, building connections between mind, body, and spirit to help facilitate growth and healing. I have been trained in EMDR and am also a registered yoga teacher.
Prior to practicing clinical social work, I studied visual art and creative writing and later child development. Some of my interests are connecting with nature through hiking and art, playing disc golf, and practicing yoga. I live in New Braunfels with my partner and our little dog, Disco.
