Hali Garrett LCSW
Hali is a trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents, adults, and families, and has provided therapeutic services in outpatient and school settings in central Texas over the past ten years. Her focus with providing psychotherapy is to help individuals struggling with issues related to depression, stress management, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, and attachment.
Therapeutically her relational style is warm and non-judgmental, and she sees her role as one that maintains a consistent and safe environment where clients can work with her to find balance, untangle the messiness of life, and shift from coping to thriving. She believes in meeting clients where they are and working holistically with them, building connections between mind, body, and spirit to help facilitate growth and healing. She has been trained in EMDR and is also a registered yoga teacher.
Prior to practicing clinical social work, Hali studied visual art and creative writing and later child development. Some of her interests are connecting with nature through hiking and art, playing disc golf, and practicing yoga. She lives in New Braunfels with her partner and their little dog, Disco.
