Supervised by Jocellyne Guerra, LMFT

Katya Parra is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate committed to supporting families, couples, and individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and strive for emotional balance. Fluent in Spanish and deeply culturally attuned, Katya offers inclusive therapy for diverse populations in both English and Spanish.

Katya has served as an MST (Multisystemic Therapy) Therapist, where she provides intensive family-based services focused on reducing juvenile delinquency and strengthening parent-child relationships. Her prior work includes supporting children, adolescents, and families through trauma, communication difficulties, and behavioral concerns.

She earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University, where she also trained as a graduate student therapist serving walk-in and court-mandated clients. Katya’s clinical approach blends empathy with evidence-based interventions like motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, and systems-based family work.
