Heather Mastrianno, Psy.D, BCB, BCN

Dr. Heather Mastrianno is a licensed clinical psychologist with a specialization in child and family interventions. Originally from Chicago, she earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Schaumburg, Illinois. Her professional journey has been shaped by extensive experience across diverse clinical settings, including Elgin Mental Health Center’s Unfit to Stand Trial Unit, Bridge View–Challenger Therapeutic Day School, the Women In Need Growing Stronger (WINGS) domestic violence shelter, and Gateway Foundation’s residential substance abuse treatment center.

Dr. Mastrianno also spent time in Boston working with Walden Behavioral Care, a leading eating disorder clinic, where she provided care across inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Her expertise spans a wide range of mental health concerns, including eating disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance abuse, and domestic violence.

In 2013, Dr. Mastrianno moved to Texas, where she founded InMindOut Emotional Wellness Center to provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals and families. In 2017, she further expanded her commitment to accessible care by establishing Orion Mental Health Services, Inc., a nonprofit organization that offers reduced-cost neurofeedback services to clients in need.

In 2021, Dr. Mastrianno partnered with Successful Practitioner to offer education and professional development opportunities for biofeedback, neurofeedback, QEEG practitioners, and other mental health professionals. Through this collaboration, she works with a team of renowned instructors to deliver empirically supported research and hands-on training in neuroscience, psychology, ethics, and behavioral science.

Dr. Mastrianno remains dedicated to empowering both clients and professionals through innovative approaches to emotional wellness. For more information about educational opportunities, visit the Education page.
