Instructor – Psychophysiology, Neurofeedback, and Biofeedback Training
With over 25 years of clinical and instructional experience, Dr. Linda Walker is a nationally recognized leader in the integration of neurofeedback, biofeedback, and psychophysiological therapies into mental health and performance settings. A licensed professional counselor, board-certified clinician, and QEEG Diplomate, she combines deep clinical expertise with a passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of practitioners.
Dr. Walker holds a PhD in Psychology with a specialization in psychophysiology from Saybrook University. Her professional journey spans roles in private practice, higher education, clinical program development, and international instructor leadership with organizations such as the Biofeedback Federation of Europe and Thought Technology. She has provided advanced training across diverse applications including Z-score neurofeedback, heart rate variability (HRV), slow cortical potentials, and trauma-informed interventions.
As founder of Inland Seas Neurotherapy and Counseling in Traverse City, MI, Dr. Walker works with clients on issues ranging from trauma and chronic illness to peak performance and emotional regulation. She also consults and supervises practitioners on the clinical application of QEEG, biofeedback, and neurofeedback, with a focus on integrating these approaches into standard mental health practice.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Walker has served as adjunct faculty at Western Michigan University and developed BCIA-aligned curricula for graduate programs. She is widely published and has presented at major conferences around the world, including AAPB, ISNR, and BFE, with a special focus on applied psychophysiology for complex populations and remote neurotherapy delivery models.
Dr. Walker is known for her accessible teaching style, strong ethical grounding, and deep knowledge of both the science and human experience behind psychophysiological interventions. Her mission is to empower clinicians with practical tools, evidence-based protocols, and the confidence to integrate neurofeedback and biofeedback into their work.
