Biofeedback is a safe, non-invasive, and drug-free treatment that enables an individual to learn how to change their physiological responses to stress, tension, and pain. The individual then learns how to make positive physical changes, such as relaxing one’s muscles, breathing more slowly, and lowering heart rate. Quantitative EEG (QEEG) provides practitioners with a comprehensive analysis of individual brain frequencies that are converted into numerical values that form topographical and spectral maps. This data may be used to assist in solidifying diagnoses such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and more. The data can also be used to assist Neurofeedback practitioners in QEEG guided Neurofeedback treatments.
