The Enneagram

October 14, 2022 by Jana Wesson-Martin

Know thyself.  It’s debatable what Greek philosopher wrote the directive but is said to be one of the three ancient inscriptions in Temple of Apollo in Delphi.  Often, we assume we know who we are, but in actuality, it takes intentional work to examine the lens of how we view the world.  Sure, maybe ignorance […]

Parenting Tip: Safety Rules for Technology with your Kids

September 29, 2022 by Ashley Bono LPC, LMFT

I think it’s a fair assessment to say that our world loves technology. We love being able to chat, click, slide, like, video call, and post anything and everything to the world wide web for all to see. It’s a thrill for us to see the number of followers, subscribers, and friends that are connected […]

Cultivating a positive body image is not an easy task. It seems like nowadays we are bombarded by a lot of information on what is the healthiest option in terms of food, exercise, or vitamins. Social media and the internet constantly show us video after blog post about what are exercises that are the best […]

September 28, 2022 by Faith Perez M.A., LPC

Jealousy– 1. a feeling of unhappiness and anger caused by a belief that a loved one might be unfaithful. 2. a feeling of unhappiness caused by wanting what someone else has. The definition of jealousy sounds pretty simple right? We have all felt this feeling at some point in our lives, but when it comes […]

What Are Your Dreams Trying to Tell You?

September 22, 2022 by Jana Wesson-Martin

Dreams can be fascinating.  Wild. Beautiful. And sometimes frightening. What kind of dreams do you remember?  We can gain insight from writing down a dream as soon as we awake.  How quickly we tend to forget. At least I do. There are so many variations of dreams.  A precognitive dream gives us knowledge of a […]

Owning Your Feelings

September 16, 2022 by Faith Perez M.A., LPC

Can someone make you feel the way you do? If you answered yes, you might be among the general consensus in that belief. The fact of the matter is that only YOU have the power to control how you feel. Now, you might be shaking your head in disagreement so we will take the next […]

Rules for Conflict Resolution and Arguments in Families

September 15, 2022 by Ashley Bono LPC, LMFT

Conflict is inevitable. Just the phrase that you wanted to see at the beginning of a blog post right? But it is a phrase that we can’t avoid. Many times we don’t want to admit that conflict even exists because of the idea that if we get into a fight with our families we […]

Truth and Relationships

September 8, 2022 by Faith Perez M.A., LPC

I have heard it said that the truth doesn’t cost you anything, but a lie could cost you everything. I find this to be a true statement in almost every situation in which it could apply. Often times we think that a lie is nothing more than words and it may be sparing their feelings […]

What Will You Do with Your One Wild and Precious Life?

August 23, 2022 by Jana Wesson-Martin

School is in startup mode, and students are being asked to turn on their brainwork to high volume. But it’s not just students who can benefit from deeper thinking.  Therapists ask those who seek help to stop and reflect on meaning.  Some therapists integrate  what we call bibliotherapy,  a form of therapy that integrates reading […]

I love this place. Office is super helpful for scheduling and payments. I do all my appointments online. My counselor Raymund Begaye is always professional and helpful, and offers different therapies including talk therapy and EMDR. Counseling with Ray has improved my quality of life and ability to handle, and enjoy (!), my life.

I have dealt with 2 therapists in the past, and I can tell you from experience that Raymund Begaye is world class. He has all the wisdom, grace and savvy of Hannibal Lector without the cannibalistic tendencies. Always selfless, supportive, and non judgemental, meeting Raymund has been a huge blessing in my life. I know from the bottom of my heart that he got into this business because he cares about people and the human element. He also thinks outside of the box. His knowledge and ability to conduct EMDR sessions have been pure gold. I was skeptical at first about EMDR, but after several sessions with Raymund I can honestly say past traumatic experiences that have kept me in a state of bondage, are not as intense as they once were. Raymund is a true American hero in many ways. He saved many lives fighting for our great country, and he continues to save lives by providing hope to the hopeless.

I've been seeing Ray for over 3 years now. He has helped me work through so much of my trauma. We started with talk therapy and it was a big help. As we opened up through my past traumas, we utilized the EMDR therapy, and let me tell you, it works wonders. I'm not sure of the exact science behind why EMDR works but I promise it does. I've come along way from the start of my therapy journey. Ray is very patient, understanding, and even when you think he doesn't get it, he does. He's always been very reassuring and has let me ease into dealing with my past. I think I found my therapist for life because before him, I had gone through several therapists that never made me feel like I'm being heard. I would recommend the EMDR therapy to anyone. Thanks InMindOut for employing such a wonderful therapist. Please don't let him go anywhere lol.

My therapist has been Ray B since fall of 2021. I was diagnosed with PTSD after the death of my husband. We were together 24 years and have a son. I know I'm alive today thanks to God and Ray. His techniques, patience, experience, care, effort, ideas and many more I can't think of, have been amazing. Ray is a blessing in my life.
