Self Care Tips

March 19, 2021 by Ashley Bono LPC, LMFT

Self-care has been a term that’s been going around for at least several years in the mental health community. Many people have different ideas of what self care looks like and what works for them. The main idea, however, is that self care is supposed to be taking care of yourself and taking care of […]

Practicing A Positive Attitude

March 12, 2021 by Ashley Bono LPC, LMFT

We all know of that one friend or family member that can bring us down due to their negative attitude or negative thought processes. We can mention that the weather is nice and warm while our friend can say something about it possibly raining. We can mention that our job is going great while our […]

Increasing Your Self Esteem

March 4, 2021 by Ashley Bono LPC, LMFT

Many of us tend to look at the idea of self esteem as just that, an idea and not a reality. Our culture tries to encourage the building up of self esteem as well as a sense of self identity, but the reality is there are many things in the world today that try to […]

Successful Personal Growth

February 25, 2021 by Ashley Bono LPC, LMFT

We’ve all done it before. At the beginning of the year we set a goal to accomplish and we somehow lose focus throughout the year about what we promised ourselves to do. Personal growth is one of those things that tends to take a back seat to everything else that we find ourselves trying to […]

Diet and Mental Health

February 19, 2021 by Marisol Guerra-Garza

One of the most common questions that I get asked during an initial intake session, is “why are you asking about my diet.” For most of us, this question is only asked in most medical settings, and most are somewhat offended or perplexed about the question. The way I attempt to explain this to my […]

February 12, 2021 by Ashley Bono LPC, LMFT

It’s February, Valentine’s day is just around the corner. It’s the time of year where everyone takes the time to think of their special someone or to think of their family members. This is the time of year where everyone thinks about their loved ones and takes the […]

Mental Health a Mess? Try Journaling

February 5, 2021 by james pellegrini

Author: Joshua Banja Most of us have probably heard the old saying that “the pen is mightier than the sword,” but little do people know how the pen’s might can be used to improve our mental well-being. Journaling, diary keeping, letter writing, or whatever you choose to call it, is an ancient written tradition that […]

Supporting Adolescent Teens who Struggle with Suicidal Ideation

January 28, 2021 by Ashley Bono LPC, LMFT

The teen years can be difficult for any family to go through. The constant mood changes as well as the physical changes pose all sort of challenges for everyone to navigate and come out on the other side as a healthy, well adjusted adult. This can especially be difficult for families where one of the […]

Cyber Self-Harm – The New Adolescent Trend

January 21, 2021 by Marisol Guerra-Garza

Cyberbullying is the use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature. According to firstsiteguide.com, recent studies have shown that 7 in 10 young adults experience cyberbullying before they hit the age of 18, and cyberbullying is the use of any type of harassing, threatening, and […]

Self Injury: Reasons for the Behavior

January 15, 2021 by Ashley Bono LPC, LMFT

Written by Ashley A. Bono, LPC, LMFT   In the course of my clinical career as a therapist, I’ve seen many people present with different mental health diagnosis. By far one of the most perplexing mental health problems that I have worked with is self harm. Since I work mainly with children and adolescents, the […]

I love this place. Office is super helpful for scheduling and payments. I do all my appointments online. My counselor Raymund Begaye is always professional and helpful, and offers different therapies including talk therapy and EMDR. Counseling with Ray has improved my quality of life and ability to handle, and enjoy (!), my life.

I have dealt with 2 therapists in the past, and I can tell you from experience that Raymund Begaye is world class. He has all the wisdom, grace and savvy of Hannibal Lector without the cannibalistic tendencies. Always selfless, supportive, and non judgemental, meeting Raymund has been a huge blessing in my life. I know from the bottom of my heart that he got into this business because he cares about people and the human element. He also thinks outside of the box. His knowledge and ability to conduct EMDR sessions have been pure gold. I was skeptical at first about EMDR, but after several sessions with Raymund I can honestly say past traumatic experiences that have kept me in a state of bondage, are not as intense as they once were. Raymund is a true American hero in many ways. He saved many lives fighting for our great country, and he continues to save lives by providing hope to the hopeless.

I've been seeing Ray for over 3 years now. He has helped me work through so much of my trauma. We started with talk therapy and it was a big help. As we opened up through my past traumas, we utilized the EMDR therapy, and let me tell you, it works wonders. I'm not sure of the exact science behind why EMDR works but I promise it does. I've come along way from the start of my therapy journey. Ray is very patient, understanding, and even when you think he doesn't get it, he does. He's always been very reassuring and has let me ease into dealing with my past. I think I found my therapist for life because before him, I had gone through several therapists that never made me feel like I'm being heard. I would recommend the EMDR therapy to anyone. Thanks InMindOut for employing such a wonderful therapist. Please don't let him go anywhere lol.

My therapist has been Ray B since fall of 2021. I was diagnosed with PTSD after the death of my husband. We were together 24 years and have a son. I know I'm alive today thanks to God and Ray. His techniques, patience, experience, care, effort, ideas and many more I can't think of, have been amazing. Ray is a blessing in my life.
